The article states that terrorism is one of the most controversial problems. The development of terrorism is based on historical circumstances which contain people who appropriately or incorrectly recognize that the political system is not handling them well. The root causes of terrorism include political systems as well as political policies and administration. The paper also discusses political violence and civil disobedience were also studied to study whether there is a link between these and terrorism. The article also states that through radio, media and newspapers we get informed about the links between economic, social conditions and terrorism.

There are also philosophical, ideological and religious roots which are related to terrorism. The article also states that if the root causes of terrorism are addressed they can lead to more terrorist activities. The article stated that Muslim community in the UK suffers from poverty and discrimination this is one of the root cause of terrorism (Hoffman, 2006). Methods to combat terrorism are also difficult as intelligence services are relying on local communities. In other words, terrorism is an act conducted as a result of political and politically motivated actions.

The article also states that terrorism is considered as an invention of political systems and cannot be eliminated before these systems are corrected. Terrorism is a disease for the present political administration. This disease can be cured if the current political arrangement functions perfectly this disease will not be observed in the political policies and if the political policies are not aligned perfectly this result in spreading and growing the disease to the whole political structure.
