Introduction

Teenage pregnancy is a state of pregnancy in underage girls - teenagers (usually aged 13-18 years). Age and social maturity criteria are not the same in different countries and cultures of the world. Teenage pregnancy in developed countries is seen as a social issue because of a lower level of education and higher levels of poverty teenage mothers and other consequences of a poor life of the children of teenage mothers (Vinovskis, 1998). In developed countries, teenage pregnancy usually occurs outside of marriage and in many local communities and cultures, accompanied by social persecution. In these countries, mentioned reasons have been many studies and campaigns, trying to uncover the causes of teenage pregnancies and limit their number (Vinovskis, 1998). In others, especially in developing countries, teenage pregnancy occurs within marriage and does not involve any social stigma.

Problem Statement

Teenage pregnancy is a problem that is on the rise. Steps need to be taken in order to resolve this teenage pregnancy or early pregnancy. Right now, there are not adequate measures that are taken for teenage pregnancy that needs to be addressed.

Aim of the Study

The study will analyze teenage pregnancy in detail along with the factors that influence this phenomenon that is not healthy for young girls who are in their teenage. The research study will be very useful in finding out the real factors that influence teenage pregnancy. This can also prove to be helpful in controlling the situation of rapidly increasing teenage pregnancy, as it is not only harmful for these young mothers but also harmful for the society as a whole because of the fact that teenage pregnancy is not accepted socially too.

Methodology

Research Method

The study will be carried out by employing the qualitative methodology. In order to find results both the primary and secondary data shall be collected. The primary research will involve data that will be collected through questionnaires and surveys. Interviews will be conducted asking people of their experience about pregnancy that has occurred to them in their teens. Secondary data will also be collected making use of different journals and books to study the topic in detail.

Data Analysis

The data will be collected through the questionnaires and interviews. The data collected will then be studied to understand the experiences and thoughts that the respondents have provided. Since this is a qualitative research, therefore, it will be based upon the judgment and experiences of the researchers. The researchers will make use of the literature studied in various journals, books, and will then analyze the responses making use of their judgment and understanding. In addition, several excerpts will also be analysed from the information about the several factors that lead to social issue so that it can be solved for good.

Sampling Method
