Introduction

Education is not an easy task. It is very difficult to educate children. It is like babysitting. Most often children are good learners and do not give a hard time to their educators. However, it is only the smart educators who are not troubled by children. These educators then rely on things that the children want and like. For example, they use toys to make the children happy while increasing their learning. Hence, it is always intelligent to use various tools in teaching children. Likewise, technology also has a higher role in teaching children. It can streamline many learning processes for children enabling them to learn with fun. Accordingly, nowadays technology and mostly computer technology is also being used in colleges (Bates & Poole, 2003).

Using technology in education

There are numerous technologies that can be used in educating the children. These range from those technologies that are fundamental classroom technologies like overhead projectors to other sophisticated technologies such as blackboards or online class rooms (Kent & McNergney, 1999). However, nowadays numerous online educational websites are also available that allow teachers to use these as online resources for educating children.

Kubbu is an online educational website. It provides teachers with the ability to create crosswords, puzzles, and other quizzes to be provided to children. Furthermore, the website also provides e-groups features whereby the teachers can add children who can then take these quizzes and other activities. Furthermore, it also allows teachers to convert these into question papers and examinations. The facilities of the e-group are also available such as giving out emails to the group. Finally, the teachers can measure the performance of the children on these activities. It then also shows all scores and results for the children (Kubbu, 2012).
