Introduction

Technology has finished the physical and intellectual isolation of Americans by making it possible for their citizens to interact with people representing different cultures and several nations around the world. This factor even includes people in USA who were not very close enough to technology in earlier times. However, the introduction of technology created a strong impact on their lives. The implementation of new technology did not only permit access to technology, but it made it easier for them to travel at long distances at a fast rate. News that used to take very long in the form of days, weeks, and even months to arrive at its destination, could now be reached easily within span of few minutes. There were trips which required a lot of time are now done in a matter of few hours. Americans can now travel across the ocean in a particular day rather than taking several months. Technology has allowed Americans to increase their prospect, for learning and incorporate others' cultures and ideas in their own way of life much more rapidly than this would have happened without these technologies available to them. Therefore, all the issues related to technology and its impact on USA will be discussed in detail.

One of the most vital advancement in technology was carried out in the field of communication. Nowadays people have an ability to easily move information over radios and televisions. Americans can now see those experiences as compare to previous times when they only use to hear about something in a newspaper or via word of mouth. This information exchange was even instant, because the dependence of printed version of the news used to take hours, days, weeks, or longer. The military found out the technology of faster relay of information which was very effective because it assisted them in creating a strategy. The troops were able to report information back to the military command, and it also assisted in making immediate changes which was necessary for the military. These communications were very important for the military during First World War. There was one incident when one of the civilian radio activities were suspended during the war, because the radio industry was taken over by the government. Numerous military gadgets were created that also included direct communication with airplanes. The war even exposed large number of personnel because of the on-going advancement in radio technology, and even witnessed few experiments with broadcasting entertainment to the troops (Bagozzi, 2007, 254).

This was obvious that it meant that Americans were given awareness of the events related to military in other countries in a much quicker way. The information which was given to them either bolstered their patriotic pride, or hugely increased their displeasure with the government related to the events which they used to hear very frequently.
