Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the important considerations of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course. The focus of this paper revolves around the technology being in the hands of young children. Since the course deals with the topics of core knowledge of twenty first century; the focus of this paper will be around the aspect that how technology is impacting education. The paper intends to make the readers aware about the significance of how does the technology must be provided to the young children and what is the underlying impact of technology over the learning of children. Early education is assumed to be directly impacted from the growing influence of technology.

Problem Statement

The problem statement is to assess the significance of what is more important; the 'core knowledge' or '21st Century skills?' With the rapid increase of technology, the field of education has changed immensely. The early education is extremely important and revolves around the significance of children learning the most important things from the caregivers, teachers and the society. However, the increased influence of technology and parents allowing the young children to utilize the technology has changed the entire environment of the early and complete education. The increased use of technology within the field of education has impacted and changed the underlined processes and structures of the field. The purpose of this paper is to assess the underlying impact over the education due to the influence of technology. The rise of technology within the field of education can be seen in the various developments made. For instance, the utilization of interactive white boards, eBooks and even gaining entire education online remains the most important advancements within the field. The underlying benefits of flexibility and convenience are not the replacement of the guidance provided by the teachers within the educational campuses. At the same time, if students do not learn to be honest from their educational level, they cannot be honest to anything that they do in their lives, be it their profession or their personal lives. Being academically integrated means being able to commit to the basic values like honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility which is an important part of today's educational requirements.

Education

Education and schooling is extremely important for the development of our youth. For the purpose of building healthy and prosperous society, we really need to focus on the education being provided in the schools. Children attend the school with an aim to learn new things. Moreover, the basic purpose of early schooling is to provide the children with basic knowledge that can contribute towards their learning and ability to think in the right direction and ultimately taking the right decisions in their lives ahead. I believe that schools shape the minds of our children and the way the teachers educate the children in their early ages is always remembered and cherished by the children (Plowman et al 2009).
