Trustworthiness of Information System

Trustworthiness is a property of an information system which communicates the extent to which the system can be estimated to maintain the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the processed, stored or transmitted information by the system. In order to become a trustworthy system, the information system should have certain characteristics otherwise, the users often hesitate to adopt and use any new technology. For this matter, following characteristics are chosen to assess the concept of trustworthiness of an information system among users. These Characteristics can affect users' perspective of a trustworthy information system.
