Interviewing is said to be the most essential part in a recruiting process. Job interview aids in analyzing the potential candidates based on the required competency level of the designation in the organization as it aids in the right selection of the employee after thoroughly scanning it. In economies which are said to be going under tough times need a right fit for the job. It is mandatory to analyze the kind of knowledge, skills and abilities that the designation entails and then interview candidates based on those set of competencies. Each type of business requires different type of interviews. For instance, if the designation requires presentation skills then the candidate is analyzed and tested based on the presentation skill by giving the candidate a topic on which it is suppose to come up with the content. The candidate besides the content would be judged on the confidence level, the speaking power and the body language. If for instance the designation requires repairing the punctures of a tire then the candidate is suppose to demonstrate the ability to repair the punctures via a demonstration. The candidate will then be judged based on the effectiveness of the repair along with the time to taken to fix it. The references that are provided by the candidate upon submission of CV should also be checked upon thoroughly to ensure that the candidate is not only fit for the designation in terms of knowledge, skills, and abilities but also in terms of the organizational culture and communication.
