The points that are more significant include the technology which is more significant than the applied science. Moreover, he has also mentioned that it has emerged without scientific knowledge and scientific advances are taking place because of the technological advances. Besides this, the author has mentioned about the historical separation of science and technology. With regards to this, he has mentioned that most of the technologies that have been developed have been developed with little scientific knowledge. However, scientific legacy has still been more important and significant than the technological legacy (Wagner, pp. 1). The example of Greece and Rome has also been quoted by the author and he has mentioned that Rome lacked connectivity; however, Rome's greatest advances were in the area of technology with little scientific development. Besides this, the modern relationship that exists between technology and science has also been discussed by the author which is also significant. The development of the weapons and the impact of science on technological development have also been discussed. Differences between technology and science have been highlighted since their nature differs because science is knowledge for its own sake while technology means to end. Moreover, the motives of the scientists and the technologists also differ from one another.

With regards to the advances that have been made in technology in the 20th century, it can be said that it has greatly affected our expectations and the way in which we are living in the world today. Technology is playing an extremely essential role in the world today, and this is mainly because of the importance it has gained. Science has greatly progressed from the previous times, and this is the reason why changes and innovations are taking place at a very high speed. This is mainly because of the importance it has gained, however, when the question arises whether we are too much dependent on technology, it can be said that we are too much dependent on it. There are many aspects that have been developed one of which is the anti-gravity technology. Anti-gravity refers to the idea of creating something either a place or an object which is free from gravity. This does not mean that the object or the place does not have gravity; however, the idea is to promote free fall and to balance the force of gravity with another force which can either be with the support of electromagnetism or aerodynamic lift. The concept of anti-gravity is therefore the concept of science fiction. Moreover, developments have taken place in business world as well as military to ensure homeland security, and technology is also being used in our daily lives.
