Introduction

The advancement and innovation of technology have brought several changes. It has brought ease for the people. Technology is changing rapidly with the passage of time. The term of technological change is referred as the overall and entire process of innovation, invention and diffusion of processes or technology. The term technological change can also be used as, technological achievement, technological development or technological progress (Nye, 2004). In other words, technological change is the invention or discovery of the process or technology. It is the non-stop process of advancing a technology and its transmission throughout the society or industry. In precise words, technological change is due to better reasons of introducing more advanced technologies (Nye, 2006).

Although, technology changes are responsible for various creative and beneficial changes but, in some situations it causes several risks and vulnerabilities to the people. The invention of weapons like bomb and guns have created several risks factors for the people (Grubler, 2003). It is a fact that the most dangerous effect of technological change is the development of technology in the field of atomic weapons (Nye, 2006). The development of weapons has brought several vulnerabilities and risks for the people because, in the current days, not human beings, but atom bombs and guns fight in the war (Nye, 2004). The creation of hydrogen bombs and atom bombs has created several anxieties and fears for the mankind. After observing these destructive features people have become more scared of these technologies (Nye, 2006).

On the other hand, the change in the field of technology has brought several changes in the environmental conditions of the entire world. In addition to this, it has also affected the living ways of several people. In the proceeding discussion it is discussed that how the technological change has affected the living and environmental conditions of the people (Nye, 2004). It is also discussed in the proceeding discussion that how the environmental conditions can be improved while using several innovative technologies (Grubler, 2003).
