Introduction

The word "team" is defined as "a collection of interdependent individuals who share responsibility for delivering results for their organizations." Two components of this distinction are emphasized. Firstly, interdependence, that team members need each other on their job. Consider a basketball or football team, where each team member depends on other members while trying to deliver a victory. Second, group members share the responsibility for providing a specific product or outcome for the organization or larger social systems in which they work (Devine, 2008).

Diversity in Teams

Diversity is a change in a wide range of characteristics of team members, including the training and experience, tenure and basic demographic characteristics such as age, gender, race and ethnicity. (Hackman, 2007) is the difference between the surface level and deep level diversity. Surface-level diversity refers to the degree of demographic change in performance, while deep diversity is focused on the differences in personality, attitudes and values. In contrast, the divergent communication is thought some members of the team is ruled out of interpersonal interaction in a competitive approach to conflict, as evidenced by the use of certain dialect or accent, talking about unknown objects, and the unwillingness to give an explanation.
