INTRODUCTION

The university has been a place where new knowledge is generated, preserving existing and transmitted to those who will one day be the foundation of society. The mainstay of this important task entrusted to the university is its teachers and researchers. Capacity, training and development, depends on the growth of the university and increase your chances of success. Currently, the Mexican higher education institutions are facing the reality of a meager teachers market. The well-trained professionals have excellent deals in the industry and only those who appreciate the importance of educational work in universities remain. Moreover, the financial resources to prepare teachers and researchers to acquire a master's or doctorate abroad have declined greatly in recent years, as is well known to all of you. In addition, a good portion of those who get these degrees choose to stay out of Mexico or, drop out of college to better job offers.

The circumstances described above highlight the urgent need to clear the creativity, in order to find feasible ways for further development to teachers and researchers that the university requires.A good teacher must possess leadership skills in him. Signs of leadership are to have the problems of intolerance, the pursuit of perfection. This person can be inspired and can inspire others. In addition, the leader is able to take into account the peculiarities of others and their strengths, to find an individual approach in order to attract the maximum number of friends to solve their own problems. This is facilitated by his belief that everyone is a creator of his own happiness, everyone can make a difference. Therefore, the leader is aware of its own goals, the value of life, and even the smallest of the situation considered in terms of their purpose and use (Antonakis, John, et al, 2004).

One way of attacking the problem is the proper selection of teachers. It is urgent that those who are hired as teachers - especially those who do not yet have higher grades - go through a rigorous selection process in which they can anticipate the interest of the candidates to make a teaching career at the institution. That would be an initial way of channeling resources properly, more or less scarce, they have to develop teachers (Hohenbrink, Stauffer & Uhlenhake, 2011). For universities that have as the current need to increase the percentage of teachers with master's or doctoral studies, which have failed in the recruitment of teachers with those features, then proposed various models of teacher development. It also suggests some methods to develop the teaching skills of teachers, in addition to the purely professional.
