Introduction

The process of change includes all activities aimed at helping the organization to successfully adopt new attitudes, new technologies and new ways of doing business. The management of change effectively allows the transformation of the strategy, the processes, the technology and people to reorient the organization to achieve their goals, maximize their performance and ensure continuous improvement in an environment of ever-changing business.

Change is process through which an organization becomes so different from what was at one time before. All organizations change but the challenge facing managers and, in general, everyone in the organization is that organizational change occurs in the direction of interest to the objectives of the organization. Therefore, it is important for change leaders to properly implement change process that will make sure that staff is agreed to the change and that they will successfully adopt it in their job tasks (Allen and Cherrey, 2000).

Discussion

When leaders want to pursue a process of change, they must take into account that people claim that the new situation will provide the same security as the previous. As the process proceeds without difficulty, the change goes through, but rather problems occur, people tend to quickly return to the previous situation and that is why a large proportion of the change processes fail in a short time to be implemented. As a matter of fact teachers are the leaders of their students and institution in which they are employed; they must take into consideration the factors that can affect the change process. For example, if a teacher wants to introduce new extra curriculum activities in the course work, he must ensure that the purpose of the change is properly communicated to the concern department and students.
