TASK 1 - Personal Objectives

Like other organizations, hospitals also need management of human resources to manage the complications of employee relations, government compliance and compensation. The human resource professionals serve as consultants to nurses, doctors, and other staff on the matters related to Human Resource that affect the everyday functions and lives of employees of the hospital.

After working as a volunteer in hospital, I realized the importance of human resource management in healthcare systems as one of the main functions of human resource is to provide the best suitable human asset to fill the various positions in hospitals. I decided to take this course to deal with the management of both clinical and non-clinical staff, training of the workers, size of the workforce and the migratory propensities of few practitioners of healthcare.

Another reason for me to choose this course is due to the challenges and issues which I experienced during my job regarding human resource management in healthcare. As I have observed, the role of human resource management in hospitals is to ensure the delivery of health care services and making easy most favorable patient outcomes, to make sure that that the individuals with the best abilities and skills are matched with the jobs offered.

I agree in being a Reflector and my learning style explains that I do not want to rush on the things; I want to have time to find all the required knowledge and information and discuss about the project with the members of my group before jumping into conclusions. However, I want to perceive the big picture and plan and prepare what, why and how we are going to do. In addition I also like to sit back and listen and plan and talk when needed so I do not lose track.

TASK 3 - Factors That Influence Learning

Learning is influenced by numerous factors for instance motivation, attention and emotions as well as by the characteristics of the learner like knowledge and learning styles, prior knowledge and rational capabilities. Following are the number of other factors defined, that may in addition have a presence on a student's ability to learn:

Family

There are a number of ways a student's ability to learn is influenced by his family. If they support and encourage reading, problem solving, looking for answers and creativity, they can create learning an optimistic practice. In turn, this makes college a more optimistic experience. It is shown by the studies that parental involvement (helping their children with homework and studies etc.) can help out their child to be a better learner. Providing calm, encouraging, and a stable environment in home can assist the student feel safe and permits them to focus on their learning (Bentley, 2012).

Emotional Condition
