Introduction

Polo health Care has been restructured week ago that is accordance with the government reform initiative. This restructuring has led the Polo Health care to cover a wider geographic area. Now it will be able to operate in the entire country and has its four sub offices in different towns. As the Head of Operations for health authority, it is my task to handle the administrative staff that is estimated to 200 employees. As Polo Heath care is now working in different geographic areas and staff has been recruited from different organizations, effective and efficient procedures and policies has to be introduced across the office by the senior management. A common and single set of procedure and policies all over the organization will lead Polo Health care to achieve the goal it has set. Previously, all operating in health sector, were not following the common set of policies and procedures. This was disastrous as the work delivered was neither efficient nor effective. This report will focus on the need of new organization policies and procedures and the change in management that will prove to be betterment for the organization. Single set of policies and procedures will add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the workers.

Healthcare administration has developed into a forceful and multifaceted domain with a capability to stir up a variety of work-related options as the sphere carries on developing. This varied profession is constantly altering because of technical innovations that carry momentous offerings to get better the healthcare values of general public. The changeovers have moved ahead to decide novel approaches concerning how and where healthcare is offered. Healthcare administrators or experts require fulfilling the functions of schemers, senior managers, leaders and supervisors in Healthcare Units that deal with the wellbeing of community. The requirement for a competently run healthcare administration scheme is developing next with the healthcare business itself.

For health care administrators, an important opportunity exists to give more effective contribution to influence team based care. The urge for creating value in healthcare delivery and for developing quality through coordination and integration is powerful and increasing. Administrators are in a special position to add worth to patient care by using abilities like team building, coordination, culture change, project management, conflict management, and leadership, in the service of team based care. For the success of team based care, health care administrators are vital to success as they are in the key position to speed up and champion tea-based care.
