People are forced to steal, rob and use all the means of unfair sources to make the survival of their living. American crime prevention is at a crossroads. After decades of successful efforts, the concept of prevention has been embedded in the American lexicon and prevention strategies are becoming a part of public policy.

Though the crime prevention in America is at the crossroads and has been the major area of concern. The American government is taking all the possible measures and steps to prevent the increasing rate of crime in the States as well in the other countries. As America has entered in the 21st century, the country has encountered many uncertainty and challenges for the law and order. The global impact of the war and terror has been seen in the American streets and the cities. As a result, the discourse of the fragile economy and the outsourcing of American jobs have been seen. The war in the Middle East and the terror of the terrorism has increased the costs of health care and the public dominance fragile.

Though, the rate of the crime has been controlled by the efforts of the American government and individuals. It has been observed that during the course of ten years, it is been the first time that the crime is not that considerable issue in America.
