Maintenance Controller

We are operations, human resources consulting firm located in Stamford, CT. One of our clients in the airline industry, Southern Air, is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Controller to add to their maintenance organization growing. ( Deveau 2009) We will stay to help in their efforts to secure the most qualified candidate. Please note: This position is based full time in Norwalk, CT office of our customers.

In this role, fast multi-faceted pace of your responsibilities will include:

* Monitor the state of aircraft maintenance, in line operations, through close communication with the maintenance planner, stations of the line, the flight crew and flight operations.

* Monitor interval short article such as daily and weekly maintenance checks to ensure the timely identification and delivery of the aircraft in the "right" time, cycles or calendar date on current issues and maps work for each show.

* Ensure the proper use and interpretation of GMM Southern Air and other relevant procedures of the company

* Manage and control all deferred maintenance include:

Mel * correct use

Issues control number and expiration date in the field of personnel

* Ensure proper monitoring is maintained to avoid overlying the approved deferral limit.

* Deferred Items (DI) is corrected in a timely manner

* Process Mel extension if necessary and approved by the chief inspector and chief engineer

* Coordinates and schedules in the country of time, labor and parts to correct the deviations of the line stations for maintenance.

* Provide technical expertise to assist in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis in the operation of the aircraft.

* Complete documentation of the maintenance report notifiable (maintenance period, diversion, damage to the aircraft)

* The equipment will process the application on the ground in the materials department.

* Coordinate on-call service to all stations.

* Support quality control documentation to verify the technical accuracy and compliance with corporate policy

* Service as a central communication point for maintenance related issues that occur between the environment of online maintenance and headquarters staff.
