ABSTRACT

In this study, attempt was made to explore the sustainable performance of leader in transport and logistics in UK. In the initial part of the study, the overall infrastructure of logistics and road freight operations in UK were covered in the section. There was a need to analyse their past development activities that have taken place in the last few years. Then it was seen that what steps can be taken in the future to improve it further that will facilitate the road freight operations in UK. The main focus of the research was on the famous UK logistics company known as Stolbart Group PLC. Their contribution towards the road freight was identified in this research and their performance was assessed in the last three years. As it is one of the UK's leading company in the transport industry and have established themselves well in the market, so it became necessary to analyse their operations and performance in detail. Finally, the research described the overall expansion and developments that is taking place in the Road Freight operations and the role that Stobart Group PLC can play in helping these operations to achieve success in the future.
