The advancements have created enough threats for the people but they have to cope up with it in order to carry on with their lives and professions.

The analysis techniques and evolution of information technology has altered the horizons of several dimensions of advanced policies. A mixture of the increasing distress over crimes, a broadening range of pressure on policing resources and criminality has produced considerable speculation in the field of research to improve information management and decision-making. The technologies' advanced versions create something which is described as an overlap between data systems and police. The role of the police operative is considerably changing in this new relationship. The all types of Surveillance systems are more and more computerized. The component of human labor is being inadequate to the roles of evaluation and construction only. This paper, in its further section, will undertake to explore and study whether the surveillance technology has become a threat to the privacy of common people and professional employees. Moreover, it will aim to highlight the causes and effects of such privacy threats to the people.

This paper shall be discussing the advent of surveillance technology in the new era and will undertake to study the various causes and consequences that come under this subject. Furthermore, the paper will research the relationship between the science and technology in the modern times. Besides that the concept of privacy threats and concerns will be explained with respect to all the new technological devices being introduced in this field. Moreover, it will conclude with the measures and recommendations which can be provided in response to the threat to privacy.

According to the definition, the term 'surveillance' is a process of ongoing monitoring and control of any activity. The technology of surveillance has made it possible for the world to manage its activities on a constant basis. The problem of public surveillance has finally become a part of the everyday life a modern citizen. It is implemented in order to assist the process of decrease in crimes, unlawful and other illegal activities. Moreover, the purpose of surveillance technology is also to keep a record and track of the inventory, luggage, etc. Such purposes let the people adjust their lives into the increasing usage of new technology.
