Abstract

Sure Start Programme has been established and created with for the purpose of addressing and catering to the many children and infants, whose parents have demised, incarcerated or single parents who are unable to support the grooming and development of their children. For this paper, our major focus shall be upon establishing efforts of how Sure Start Programme has intended efforts to improve the community. While Sure Start Programme has been established to make way for catering to societal wellbeing, it must be considered that doubts are being associated with the kind of efforts that have been intended by Sure Start. It must be acknowledged that while there are many NGO's and communities exist in the community, Sure Start could be considered as just another 'societal program', which have invested in the best interests of the improvements of the community.

Introduction

Sure Start Programme is a UK-based initiative that has taken place for the purpose and objective of creating the best and most favourable environment for children, who either are roaming out on the streets or do not have any guardian to take care of them. Established in the year 1998, backed by the government, Sure Start has been in the midst of giving the most effective communal efforts for the grooming of the community.

Reason of Establishment for Sure Start

The major objectives for establishment of Sure Start is to work for reduction of major issues and concerns such as poverty, child abuse, healthcare, education, and fulfilment of basic necessities and intending legal rights to children who are inducted in the Sure Start Programme.

The idea encircling Sure Start was that all people shall be that social services was to include all sorts of services under one roof for parents of under fives (5). Keeping in view of the labour party, Sure Start programme is amongst its 'greatest achievements', however to highlight and identify the views of the conservative party, their motives are relatively different, with the $200 million of the Sure Start budget, in comparison to whatever the Labour Party has chalked for itself. This way, it would be beneficial in order to provide them with the needed cash to set up their 'new school' projects.

Sure Start Programme did intend a lot of differences and was able to bring a lot of differences between the societal classes that existed at that time. This way, initially, with the plan that came into progress, a lot of positive changes within the community and at the same time, create benefit for the people and the society overall.
