Introduction

For the reason that the Revelation, Acts, and Gospels have discrete genres and the 13 letters of Paul make a natural collection, the rest of the New Testament books are grouped known as the "General Epistles." The Christians of early times usually named these letters as the "Catholic Epistles" as they were addressed to a broader audience as compare to Paul's letters (Niswonger, 1992).
