Article 1

The elderly people who are suffering from HIV are also susceptible to the conditions of stress because they experience less support at the social level as compared to the young people. There are no reasonable effects of social support are found on stress and health of the people who are suffering from HIV. The purpose of study was to find out the results of social support on stress and health of the elderly victims of HIV. The study was conducted by the cross sectional examination HIV positive adult gays and the results were provided in the form of self assessments. The results indicated that the consequences of social support in reducing stress and improving health were more effective in older men. The relation between stress and health is not affected by age or support and there were increased mood swings in the elderly victims of HIV. There is a need to provide prolonged support to the elderly people suffering from HIV so that it can be beneficial for them (Margaret, A. et al 2003)

The article is useful for the understanding of the moods of elderly people and what results can be achieved by providing support and care to them.

Article 2

It is shown from the previous research that the people are not able to witness any event that is occurring in front of them if they are busy in some other task. This experience is known as inattentional blindness. The studies were conducted with the inexperienced observers who were involved in the work that was not familiar to them. 24 radiologists were asked to perform the detection test of familiar lung nodule. In the last case of the study a gorilla was inserted who was 48 times larger than the nodule and the gorilla was not observed by the 83% of the radiologists. The study of eye tracking identified that most of the people who missed the sight of gorilla were actually looking in the same direction. Hence it is further stated that the people who are experts of their own field are also susceptible to inattentional blindness (Drew, T. et al 2013).

The above article is useful in understanding the phenomenon of inattentional blindness and it how it can affect our daily life. This problem occurs to every individual.

Article 3

There were three experiments that were conducted in the above mentioned article to observe the performance of those participants who has been watching the videos that portrayed the actions of grasping. The participants were able to detect the target actions and further their work load was also noted before performing the experiment. The results indicated that the people were unable to detect the threats when they had more workload. This decrease in the observation was justified due to the fact that the temporal cues were valid up to 75% due to increased work load.
