Op-Ed on Student Loan Debt

Introduction

While recent economic data allow the U.S. President Barack Obama's economic recovery defend their country, some experts say the conditions for a new crisis may be brewing in an unexpected flank: student loans. The problem is a potentially explosive mixture of ingredients: education costs grow faster than wages, more need for external financial assistance and worrying youth unemployment rates. And as debts increase and makes the payment of outstanding money, so does the risk to the borrower and the overall economy.
