Introduction

BAE System (British Aerospace Engineering) is UK's largest employer of manufacturing. It is also the biggest employer of professional engineers in UK. From the experience of decades in producing the state of the art defence equipments, and technologies at first, the talented engineers are working on advanced projects of engineering in the world. Based on the applicable revenues of year 2011, BAE System it is ranked as the third largest global defence company. In North America, it is the seventh largest industry. It is a global defence, security and aerospace company. The business model of the company is mainly to deliver the growth that is sustainable. This growth will be in relation to value of shareholder throughout the overall performance. This will ultimately guide the actions that are for the benefit of all its stakeholders.

The regions of business units of BAE Company are, Airbus UK, Avionics, Aircraft Services Group, North America, Australia, International Partnerships, and Operations. There are five business groups of BAE Systems in which it is divided. These groups are; Electronic Systems, Platforms and Services (US), Cyber and Intelligence, Platforms and Services (UK), and Platforms and Services (International).

Types of Industries That the Company Operates In

There are five business groups of BAE Systems in which it operates its business. These systems consists of; Cyber & Intelligence, Electronic Systems, Platforms & Services (UK), Platforms & Services (US), and Platforms & Services (International). The focus is not only on the combat equipments, but the technologies are also focusing on tactical and logistical support (BAE Systems Annual Report, 2011). Relevant to the business, BAE System operates in four focus areas. These areas are:

Communities on local level.
