Operating strategies

The operational management of Heathrow airport already carries various strategies where it also deals with many of its managerial, operating as well as lower employee's activities. It has four of the reporting points where the aircraft of Heathrow itself report at Bovingdon, Ockham, Lambourne and Biggin Hill (Heathrow, 2013). The controllers of the air traffic possess main operating activity where they have been guided by the aircrafts for landing and approaching the destination successfully and further lead them to one of its terminal out of the other four terminals which functions in holding the traffic of aircraft arrivals. The controllers of air traffic communicate with each and every flight which takes off, passing by or land at Heathrow.

Moreover, after the successful landing of aircraft at Heathrow the controllers traffic handling hand over the control responsibility of the aircraft to the Heathrow tower which provide proper guide to aircraft to go to their specified terminal and let the passengers arrive in one of the world's best terminal and the most famous airport for shopping (The Guides Network, 2013).

The Heathrow airport has also been recognized and awarded as the victor of the world's best airport terminal and duty free shopping in the world airport awards by SKYTRAX (Heathrow, 2013). More significantly, a heavy noise is produced with the departure of the aircrafts which directly affect the densely populated areas; therefore, Heathrow has set the departure of aircraft from the west runway and east runway for their arrivals (The Guides Network, 2013).
