Introduction

The Coca Cola is an American company. It is the manufacturer and marketer of the non alcoholic beverage called Coca Cola. The product is the flagship product of the company. Other than Coca Cola, the company produces wide assortment of drinks and syrups like Fanta and Sprite. The company has adopted a franchised model of the distribution system. The system dates back to 1889 (Coca-Cola, 2013). The company also holds its own anchor bottler that is placed in North America with the name of Coca Cola refreshments. It is one of the biggest brands in the world and is often termed as a brand that has the highest equity among its customers.

Company Profile

The company licenses about 500 non alcoholic beverages across the world. The primary product of the company is its non alcoholic beverages. Other than sparkling and carbonated beverages, the company also license, distributes and markets for s some enhanced water products (Coca-Cola, 2013). There are some juices and ready to drink teas that are the part of the company portfolio. As far as the segmentation of the company is concerned, there are many geographical segments to which the company caters to. There are Eurasia and Africa, Latin America, North America and Pacific Regions (Keys, 2004, p.33).

Vision and Mission of the Company

Looking at the mission of the company, the mission consists of three statements. They ought to bring refreshment to the world. They also inspire and aspire for growing optimism in the society and at the same time, they make an effort for increasing the happiness quotient among people (Keys, 2004, p.44). They tend to create value with all their business activities and at the same time, they try to make different to the world. They have this long term vision about the company. They want to create long term and vision for their business and they are intend on defining a roadmap. The roadmap is there to make sure that they are winning together along with their bottling partners.

Coca Cola is a carbonated soft drink that is sold in the stores. The drink is sold in the vending machines and it is also part of the stores. The drink is produced by the Coca Cola Company that is located in Atlanta (Coca-Cola, 2013). The soft drink is sometimes simply referred as Coke.
