Introduction

The economy of world is thriving on various business activities, conducted on small and large scale around the world. The primary reason for establishing any organization is to earn profit and maximize it over number of years of its operation. Although profit cannot be increased, it can be attained through value adding process, incorporated to achieve success on large scale of operations. The value adding process includes continuous innovation in almost all areas of business (Malik & Merunka, 2006, pp. 2-7).

Unilever is one of the leading FMCG Company, operating in almost every part of the world. The company is known for is holistic operations and effective services. The values of Nestle are based on high morals welcoming employees from diverse cultural back grounds. Today organizations like Nestlé have developed environmental management systems and environmental auditing, and this emphasis on sustainable development values feeds into the culture of the organization so that the emphasis today is on corporate social responsibility (Susan et al, 2008, pp 2-13).

The strategies of the organization should be responsive to the internal and as well as external needs of the organization. To incorporate change at both the levels, change management agents should be assigned to develop policies and programs to implement change in the organizational strategy. The change should be implemented, involving employees working at every level so that they can relate themselves with changing values and norms (Susan et al, 2008, pp 2-13)
