Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein, is a collection of several things at a time: a science fiction heroic, a narrative of religious awakening, a sheer irony, and a polemical handling of politics, faith, and media (SparkNotes Editors, n.d.).

Despite of the fact that the story of Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein maneuvers around several different points, one conspicuous version of Mike's tale would be as a post-modern restating of the Jesus Christ tale. Prior to the story, even starts, we ascertain that the rubric of section 1 is "His Maculate Conception," a satirical relation to the mythology of Jesus Christ's impeccable construct. Although Mike's biological parents are totally human beings, therefore, his construct being "maculate" instead of immaculate, Mike's birth and puerility on Mars cause his beginning as unparalleled on Earth as Jesus Christ's. Similar to Jesus, Mike starts to prophesy a message of peace and love to humankind, appeals his group of followers. Mike's "9th circle" is approximately equal to Jesus's adherents, and he is oppressed by the earthman establishments that assay to maintain their position at any expense. Mike is cognizant of his duplicates to Christ, so once he permits himself to be killed at the ending of the story, he rather self-consciously directs his demise to relate with death of Jesus Christ's, still putting himself to be affected by the light in such a manner that it looks he has an angelical glory (SparkNotes Editors, n.d.).

As soon as Mike is ascertained on Mars, he is subjugated to the wishes of monolithic Earth establishments. He is returned to Earth and admitted in a hospital where he is apparently being watched and handled for. As a matter of fact, he is a de facto captive ...
