Comments on the Design of the Study and on Its Internal and External Validity
The report given to us is on the comparison between anger levels in the daily life driving situation. In this report researcher has tried to develop the strategy that how the driving affect daily life situation in the way of angriness. The research design of the study is based on primary data that is questionnaire is used as a method of data collection to identify and define field data and information that was not available in the secondary research. The main objective primary research for this study was to determine the expression of anger and reported levels in everyday and driving situations. The motive for this target is the continued improving the anger level. Secondary objectives of the primary research were as follows:
Determining the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of respondents with business and market environment in the region;
Determining the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of students participating universities with the opportunity to work with the regional labor market;
Determining the status of women in the studied phenomena that are innovation activities and business, etc.;
Determining the status of the respondents that is they are familiar with the current options to support their activities.
Primary research was conducted by a team of interviewers, as the most appropriate method of data collection was selected questioning, technology standardized questionnaire form personal and electronic inquiries. This selection matches the desired coverage sample; in addition to this, in all cases, interviewers worked with a standardized questionnaire and participants in this study were volunteers recruited through the Internet. The electronic version of interviewers used both electronic mail and sending a questionnaire in the Annex in Word format, both fully automated computerized questionnaires on Google Docs, which was created as a form. The study include particularly include American and European; however, the final sample included Brazilians, Canadians, Chinese, Japanese and Malaysians.
Dependent and Independent Variables and their Validity
Dependent Variable
The depenednet variable of the study is:
Road Aggression Expression
Independent Variable
The indepenednet variable of the study include the following:
Gender
Age
Driving Experience
Operationalisation of Variables
With respect to the operationalisation of the depenednet and indepenednet variables, researchers used these variables on this basis that researchers wants to analyze the aggression levels in different criterias. Lawton, R. and Nutter, A. (2002) used gender to test whether the aggression level differs in both males and females or not. They selected this variable to analyze, whether the aggression really depends on driving or not. The other independent variable that researchers used is the age researchers used it on the basis that whether the aggression level differs in different age level groups or not. The third independent variable that is used by researchers is driving experience. Lawton, R. and Nutter, A. (2002) used the level of expression in driving situation as; in this researchers used it on the basis that researchers selected three expressions for that. The three expressions that researchers used are suppressed, displaced, and outward. The independent variable is operationalized on the basis of expression levels ...
