The study is related to the mean value of the items which are included in the data set. The data that is given include various items that are total 44 items. The mean value of these items vary, the reason of this change in mean are various as the mean value of the items may be different due to the data is taken from the diverse group of people or the response of the people were not similar. Furthermore, this change in the mean value can affect the results of the study as it may be due to the missing value in the data.
Discussion
The mean value is denoted in general usage than average. The mean is a measure statistics characterizing the elements of a set of quantities, it expresses the size of each item among the 44 items would have all the same if they were all without changing the overall size of the whole. There are several ways to calculate the average of a set of values, chosen according to the physical quantity represented by these numbers. In common parlance, the term "average" generally refers to the arithmetic mean.
The average value of the function - is a number between the smallest and largest of its values. The differential and integral calculus, there are some "theorems about the mean", establishing the existence of such points at which the function or its derivative or otherwise receives a mean value. The most important theorem on the mean value function in differential calculus is a theorem of Lagrange ( theorem on finite increments ): if f (x) is continuous on the interval [a, b] and differentiable in the interval (a, b), there exists a point c, belonging to the interval (a, b), such that f (b) - f (a) = (b - a) f '(c). In integral calculus, the most important theorem on the mean value is as follows: if f (x) is continuous on the interval [a, b], and f (x) keeps a constant sign, then there exists a point c in the interval (a, b).
The data set of this study consists of 44 items, each item has 51 observations including 13 male and 38 female. The results show that on average a social worker has the experience of around 16 years with an average age of 41.26, this shows that most of the social worker should have profound skill, attitude and professionalism.

The purpose of this study is to draft the “importance” each of the characteristics has to practice by a social worker. The original intent is to eliminate all those whose mean score was less than 4.0 (very important). The table below shows the mean scores for all the items, it can be seen that Item 1 has a magnitude of mean value greater than 4, which means that characteristic of Item 1 has the significant importance. Item 2 in table below tell us about the characteristic (knowledge of the DSM ...
