Suitable method for collecting information on the means of transport used by students for travelling to school
The quantitative method/ primary research method will be used for the collection of the data for the means of transport used by the students for travelling to the school. McNeill and Chapman (2005, p.17) stated that the quantitative method is used for collecting the primary information from the students about the transport they use for travelling to the school. The quantitative method uses primary information. The data will be collected by using the questionnaires and questionnaires will be distributed to the students to know about the transport. The students will be selected randomly by using convenience sampling technique.
Suitable method for collecting information on temperature change over the period of 7 days
The qualitative method/ secondary research method will be used for collecting the information about the variation in temperature over the per4iod of seven days. Thomas (2003, p.1) explained that the qualitative method uses the secondary data that is the data that already exists will be used for collecting the information regarding the variation in temperature. The data will be collected by retrieving the data from the website, thus, secondary data will be used.
Strengths and weaknesses of data collection method
The strengths of collecting the primary research method are that first-hand and updated information will be received by the researcher. Secondly, the respondents can easily be selected randomly. The main weaknesses of this method are that it is a time consuming method. Secondly, the respondents may not give reliable and correct information. Incorrect information is the main problems and hurdle in primary research.
On the other hand, the main strengths of secondary research method are that the secondary research method is cheap that is available information on the websites can be retrieved without the wastage of money. Secondly, this method is not time consuming. However, the weaknesses of this method are that new and updated information is not always available. Secondly, the data may not be accurate.

The mean of the females in numbers of siblings is greater than the mean of the males in numbers of siblings. The range shows the difference between the higher values and the lowest values. In males, the range for number of siblings is 6; whereas, the range for females for numbers of siblings are 12 that are greater than the range of ...
