The above table shows that association between variables is positive and strong relationship except “British colonization”. British colonization is negatively associated with the human development index.

All the independent variables are significant as significance value is less than 0.05, whereas, the significance value of British colonization is greater than a. It means British colonization is an insignificant independent variable.
