For the statistical analysis of data which has been collected for the present study, software named SPSS was utilized. Apart from the analysis of descriptive statistics of the data, the three major tests using which the data was analyzed included; the t-test on the average of daily drink per month among the two genders, a chi-square test and the correlation analysis between age and number of drinks consumed by the participants of the study.
The SPSS outputs obtained after the administration of t - test on the obtained data have been mentioned below;

A thorough analysis of the outputs of t-test, mentioned above, indicate that the obtained value of F is 246.574 while the obtained t - value is 15.433. Therefore, we conclude that there is a significant difference between men and women in terms of their average consumption of the daily drink per month.
Moving on, to test the assumption that people who smoke are also more likely to drink, a chi - square test was administerd on the obtained data. The outputs of this test, as obtained by the SPSS have been mentioned below;
