For the purpose of understanding and comprehension, the Stafford Act has been defined as a 1988 amendment to the Disaster Relief Act of 1974. The ideology behind this Act was to aid citizens at the time when a natural disaster strikes and arises, deteriorating the country condition and which leads to imposing national emergency all around the country that comes to us (Brennan, 2009).
