However, sports performance means the degree of increase can order a driving performance in a particular sport. Moreover, to determine which variables or components directly affect athletic performance or relate to best results, serve to implement a program in which the variables can be developed always trying to reach the optimal level of athletes or athletes of different disciplines. However, a harmonious development of these factors can achieve maximum individual performance understood as the result of planning a structured training program (Orlick, & Partington, 1987, 4-17).
Moreover, there are many answers to questions, lie in the psychological functioning of athletes. They themselves know the importance of psychological functioning to play at 100% of its possibilities. When athletes perform an analysis of a competition in which they have lost or have not achieved the expected results are very different from the responses of the winners. However, the difference between winning and losing when competing among the best is often minimal. They have trained and prepared thoroughly for this event, however not all are able to give as much of themselves. When asked about the reasons for success a lot of them attributed to mental strength. Thus, we must focus on comprehensive and integrated performance of the athlete in different sport situations (Danish, 1993, 352-385).
