On December 19th, 2008, President Bush Jr. announced an elaborated plan that was aimed at rescuing the American auto industry. The proposed plan includes a $17.4 billion bailout plan for the greatest automotive workers of the local industry such as Chrysler, Ford and General Motors (10News, 2008).
