Is sovereignty “Organized Hypocrisy”?

Many events have changed the notions about various subjects in the world, significant events which altered the course of the history includes World Wars, Financial depressions, Cold War etc. In the Context of this paper light would be thrown on how the Cold war has changed the notion of term 'sovereignty'. Sovereignty is translated as the supreme authority, free from any sort of pressure in order to take decisions, frame laws concerning a specific geographic area. However altered the cold war the definition of society has changed a great deal and therefore requires the detail study of the subject in order to understand the alterations which have impacted the term 'Sovereignty'. In order to understand how has the term 'sovereignty' altered itself, t is vital to see the aspect of leaders trying to stay in power which is not subjected to any country, geographic area rather this has been the course of the history(Moore 2009,p.501). Leaders in the past have gone beyond the lines of internal acceptance towards any subject in order to remain in power and have taken the decisions which have compromised the safety and security of their country. This in fact is directly related to the attached 'sovereignty' of any country; however this turns and decisions on the part of the leaders around the world have given birth to the norm known as 'Organized Hypocrisy'.

Which inn term of the context of this paper can be defined as the existence of those traditions which have been continuously violated in order to maintain the position in internal arena. However with the birth of the institutions like International Monetary Fund have begun to question the idea of state building, which later on will serve to lay the foundations for sovereignty of any country (Holden 2010, p.395). It is necessary to gauge the concept of state building in order to understand the subject of 'sovereignty'.

Rules, Traditions and norms which tend to oversee the, matters which are directly proportional to the functioning of any state. Since the actors on this stage contributes to act in the manner unknown to the general public therefore this act have given rise to the various tensions in the system itself. Human Rights, good governance, Self determination are all those issues which serve in order to figure out the conduct of the state with its members (Egnell 2010, p.473). However, the acts of the leaders on both local and international front are beyond the ideas of ethics and rules need to follow in order to govern and help build the state. Many powers in the world also effects on the domestic decisions taken, such in the third world countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, the political as well as the military leaders tend to look up towards the United States of America.
