Introduction
Religion is not something that is the endowment of the modern times; it has existed since the first person was sent to this earth; pertaining to different faiths and believes. It will not be wrong to state that in the current times, the most widespread religion in the entire world is Christianity; yet, in the modern world, it seems as if the inhabitants have left the key essence of the religion far behind, and are overly consumed in the worldly routine. Even today, numerous individuals possess several misconceptions or lack of knowledge regarding the basic factors or aspects of the religion. Therefore, it is highly imperative that astute measures are undertaken to diminish those misunderstandings, and bring in to their knowledge.
The theme of God's sovereignty and man's responsibility provokes strong arguments even among Christians. In the history of the Church the issue has been important theological and ecclesiastical divisions. At the present time the terms "Calvinist" and "Arminian" are still used as more or less pejorative nicknames. The terms "predestination" and "free will" suggest too many incompatible theological perspectives.
The truth of God's sovereignty is well highlighted in all of Scripture. God has absolute power and authority over all creation, He is omnipotent. Now the question is that can the man has the power to alter the plan or will of the God through his choice, even when it is not in his best interests or in harmony with its desire that is what all men to be saved. Whilst the choices of mankind may prevent him from achieving the goal that God wants for him, this failure would not defeat the plan of God that He has for His kingdom. The LORD will choose other vessels to complete His goals if the mankind does not choose to respond to His invitations to His loving salvation and His righteousness. Nobody, not even those who rebel to God willingly could stop the work of others, but at the same time God does not use His omnipotence and sovereignty in order to violate the free will that He has chosen to give to man.
