The fact is often communicated in our society that, some people are born to be lucky. It is because of the reason that some people think luck works more than the hard work. Those people do not even realize the hard work and determination of successful people (Gillman, 2008). They just think that they have got success because they are born to be lucky. It is often observed that some people are so lucky that they often gets success in every field of life but motivation, hard work and determination also plays a vital role in the success of any individual (Webber, 2008).

In the proceeding paper it is discussed whether some people are born to be lucky or they get success through hard work and determination. Determination, hard work and dedication are considered as the key factors in one's success. Therefore, very person can become a lucky person by his efforts and hard work rather than, totally believing on luck and any individual can be lucky, even if he or she is not born lucky (Alpheus, 2006).

It is often said by several people that they are make their own luck. This statement is true to large extent because, only hard work and determination can make a person successful. Limitations, hard work, proper planning and determination are considered as the significant factors of being successful (Alpheus, 2006). The people, who understand this fact that only hard work can lead them to success, really enjoy working hard with true spirit and determination. Their hard work and determination eventually lead them to ultimate success (Alpheus, 2006).

The successful people often spend their time in working with true spirit and determination. This phenomenon leads them to success that is why; people often think that they are born to be lucky. The people do not realize the fact that only luck is not dependent on the success of any individual, but hard work and determination are the necessary elements of the success (Craig, 2003).

According to several critics, some people think that they do not deserve victory or success. This thinking is one of the greatest hindrances of success in one's life. This is one of the negative approaches which lead any individual towards failure. These people often think that they cannot achieve success because; they are not lucky (Craig, 2003). They only think that only luck is the factor behind one's success. Unfortunately, their approach is not correct. It is because of the reason that the one's desires, hard work, motivation and determination makes him/her successful and lucky. Success is only dependent on one's mindset because, if the person thinks that he/she can get success then, he/she would definitely get success (Alpheus, 2006).
