Introduction

I watched this movie on a DVD with my friends because it has been the greatest American comedy film and achieved the Golden Globe Award for the Best Actress too. The movie is about two broke musicians who lived in Chicago and have been the only witness of the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre and are being wanted by the gangsters as they are the only two witnesses of the massacre. So in order to find their survival, they dressed up like girls and joined an all women jazz band that were travelling towards Florida (Monroe, 1959).

Synopsis

The two male musicians, Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) got a job performing in Urbana and end up witnessing the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre. Being the only witness of the massacre and to save themselves from the gangsters, they both dressed up as girls performing as Josephine and Daphyne in the Sweet Sue's all girl orchestra.
