Software Project Management

1.1

I've once undertaken a project of developing a software for the management of personal account. The initial objective was to keep track of my income and expenditure so that I could be able to assess my income-to-expenditure ratio. The actual starting date was December last year, although, it was planned to be started in May the same year. I planned to be completed within a month but it project took me more than three months to complete as there were repeated tests to ensure desired results. The delay was caused mainly by the determining the heads of accounts to be kept track of in the prospective software. The resources used were computer, Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software and accounts material.

The outcomes were mainly in line with the objectives set at the beginning of the project. The new software now keeps track of all my cash inflows and outflows, income and expenditures.
