Introduction

Every company has to manage their workflow responsibilities. They can do this through Microsoft outlook, document management or CRM. The main purpose of using workflow management is to speed up the organizational files and manage the business life through applications. The workflow application helps the firm to manage the to-do-tasks with related many entries and activities to be done. This helps the firm to work without any delay or gaps within the activities. It is a visual representation of the performance of work which is described through document or product. The concept of workflow helps the company to describe their organizational structures. It comprises of the processes, planning and scheduling, flow control and in-transit visibility. The workflow management replaces the paperwork and controls the automated process. It shows the dependencies essential to complete each task. With the completion of the task, the workflow management application ensures the company and notifies about the next task. The paper constitutes of competitive analysis of the task management software which use Getting Things Done (GTD) Task Management methodology derived by David Allen. As a software architect for Company X, it is my responsibility to suggest my company personal workflow software which is based on the methodology for GTD. Summary of GTD methodology

GTD is a process of self-organization by each applicable to all activities, both professional and private. It practices the method leads to identify priorities with safety at any time and to better position itself to act immediately on the priority chosen. This system has to be relied on a permanent basis. This system defines the current financial position of the company, direct what to spend and submits all the shares immediately executable, also directs about the objectives to be achieved. The purpose of GTD is to put us in position to always exercise this judgment make an immediate decision, clear (first step), safe (all instances to consider, but they only have been taken into account), and no regrets (we are fully aware of what they chose not to do so now). David Allen shows the process to prepare the best choice for the next priority project permanent collection of any pending, processing and organization for action, systematic and frequent updating.
