The research article is based on the current trends and the significant components of the field of sociology. This field of study has experienced several dynamic changes over an extended period of time; hence these changes have to be critically analyzed. This article discuses the framework; through which various sociologists share their findings and collaborate with each other. This is a very crucial activity of the sociologists which helps them enhance their findings in the various researches. The tests used in the study are based upon empirical testing in which the different explanations of the collaborations between the sociologists are identified and tested in order to evaluate the increasing trend of the collaboration between the sociologists. The data has been collected for the study through a stratified random sampling technique in which the data has been analyzed between the time period of 1935 t year 2005 taking n = 1274.
The two leading journals in sociology were taken as the source of collecting secondary data. The analysis of the study is based upon descriptive data technique which involves tend description of the factors and their contribution in the increasing collaboration among the sociologists over the time. The trends identified over the time are analyzed in the journal article and presented in a descriptive form in order to discuss the most important factors and their significance with respect to the topic of the research.
