If I am the chief of the marketing department and our company going to launch a flying car, to create a demand in the market of the car which performance in testing session was not up to the mark. The strategies I would be using will be:

Setting Mind of the Customers:

It has become clear to social marketers that products and services can be necessary, but not sufficient, conditions to improve health (e.g. condoms for HIV prevention, bed nets for malaria control). What is crucial is that people must use these products and services (e.g. family planning, HIV testing and counseling centers, prenatal clinics) and change behaviors to impact morbidity and mortality. The 4 P's strategy would be developed for making mind sets of the customers.

Product is the flying car and the price is also set by the board members now the next step is place. It is very important to analyze what is your product? What is your market? Whom you want to sell your product? And how will you sell? All these questions have to be answered to make a good strategy.

So in this case first ill analyze who will be the customer, because we are providing competitive advantage and of course it is a flying car so we would be the first one to launch this technology. It is our right to charge premium on the car but we are not in the position to charge high premium because there is a little faults present in the car. (Kotler p 17)

For social marketing we also have to observe and predict customer needs and that what they think about the flying car. Surveys would be conducted in order to get correct information about the customer.
