Sociology is the science that studies the collective phenomena produced by the social activity of humans within the historical and cultural context in which they are immersed. In sociology using multiple interdisciplinary research techniques to analyze and interpret from different theoretical perspectives causes, meanings and cultural influences that drive the emergence of various trends in human behavior especially when in social life and within a habitat or "space-time" shared. The origins of sociology as a scientific discipline are associated with the names of Henri de Saint-Simon, Auguste Comte, Karl Marx, Herbert Spencer, Emile Durkheim, Georg Simmel, Max Weber, Talcott Parsons, and Alfred Schutz. Despite this, ever since the Middle Ages, Arab thinkers such as Ibn Khaldun, made academic reflections that could be considered sociological.
Sociology is a science emerged in the nineteenth century as an academic response to the changes of modernity: the more the world became smaller and integrated, the more people's experience of the world became fragmented and dispersed. Sociologists hoped not only to understand what united social groups, but also to develop an "antidote" to social disintegration. The main themes of the period, defined as those of classical sociology include research on macro-structural aspects, such as social system, function, social class, gender, and social norms. The study of institutions also becomes key issue, particularly that of family and school , before moving to the problems of society itself, such as deviance , the crime, the migration , the divorce , the social integration , and Law and the Order , studying in parallel the personal interactions rather than only large-scale phenomena.
The modern sociology, even after the development of the methodology of social research, the quantitative method and qualitative method, it is concerned with various aspects of daily life, especially the institutions, and how they can influence our society. For this reason, Sociology led to several independent sub-disciplines such as sociology of labor, sociology of art, or sociology of sport, who study the influence to the individual. This report will focus on the conflict theory and durkheimianism by comparing and evaluating these theories on different perspectives of sociology.

In sociology, the situation is quite different. It has long been fashionable to lament the lack of interest in the place of an object that might seem too abstract to be submitted strictly with the requirements of sociological investigation. This does the same today, judging by the number of contributions, empirical or otherwise, accumulated on the subject in recent decades (Challenger, 1994).
