Social Child Services

Introduction

Childcare can be defined as one of the most complex and comprehensive forms of social services, in which the relevant individuals have to crucially analyze several factors. The initial childhood stage can be defined as one of the most significant periods in the life of any individual, as this is the time when the person develops his initial perception regarding the world. The attitudes and the behaviors developed in this stage of a person are generally developed even further in the later stage of his life. It is due to these reasons that the social workers who have the responsibility to care for the children living in stressful and destructive environments, have to proceed with special care Phillips, R. The child related social work is generally dependant on the funds provided by donations from the public sector as well as the government aid. However this source of fund is not adequate to completely address the issues of child care in the developed countries, as the issue is very complex and requires long term assistance. It is only the relevant social workers who have the motivation and the objective to dedicate their time and effort to the lives of the distressed children, and make a positive change in their entire lives Barry, M. (2007). The children are very vulnerable in this initial phase and any external influence that they experience becomes a vital part of their personalities. If these children are not helped in a timely basis the negative influences in their lives, would become a permanent part of their personalities. This would cause these children to themselves develop the negative tendencies that they experienced in their household environments and ...
