People, from all walks of life, face diseases. All ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and people of all genders, face the problem; it is not only white men of upper or middle class who suffer, as previously thought. Diseases and body dissatisfaction's differing experiences can be widely possessed by men of color because of the meanings of weight and food, and because of the ethnicity, race, and gender difficulties, built-in.
