Introduction

The greatest problem that America was suffering was the issue of slavery. These slaves used to work for other people and in return, they did not receive any money for their efforts. Most of them were working on large plantations under their masters. Few of the slaves rebelled against this slavery system but their efforts went vain. On that time, South masters wanted to continue slavery system but by the period of Civil War, most of the North people wanted to finish this system. The paper is intended to define different accounts of former masters and former slaves about the reconstruction.
