Introduction
In today's world, social media plays a concept of connecting people together through the mode of technology. Individuals and groups connect through using the social media for many purposes which include either connecting just for the purpose of socializing, where as some individuals and groups use social networking for the purpose of sharing their thoughts, ideas, knowledge and experiences which generate beneficial outcomes at personal levels as well as for the society. However, the technological medium that has developed social networking has more importantly transformed individuals, groups, and organizations in regards to shifts in their cultural and habitual norms (Kabukin, 2010, pp. 109).
Discussion
The paper is based on discussing the six important scientific reasons that claim negativity about the effects that the social networking is presenting to the society (Bertot, 2012, pp.78 ). The dialogue will be based on judging the discussed criteria in contrast to arguing the scientific reasons against the articles that are in favor of social networking and its importance in today's world. Preventing Individuals from Being Active
The influence of social networking in an individual's life limits the opportunities that clearly stand outside when meeting new people. However, this is not the case with social networking, as it limits young individuals who are the most inspired by social networking. The authors in favor of social media neglect the fact that social networking is affecting the appetite of young individuals and groups, as they start to lack in confidence when they face variety of diverse people in the society.
