Introduction

Sickle disease is one of the more widespread diseases that is being occurred by the people and around the world it may affects thousands of people. There are people from some part of the world that are easily affected by it. People who are most commonly affected by this disease are those people who belong to Sub Saharan Africa, Spanish speaking people who belong to the Western hemisphere. Women who are suffering from sickle cell disease are able to have healthy pregnancy, but they need to show some extra concern as far as taking care of their pregnancy as compared to some of the common people. There are some theories that suggest that people who are facing some problem due to sickle related disease need to be more careful about the vision as they are bound to have impartment of vision and eyesight related disease (Stuart & Nagel, 2004).

This paper is an attempt to see whether some of the social cultural factors have an influence on the overall management of the pain related issues as far as sickle diseases are concerned. It has been observed that patients who are suffering from the Sickle Cell disease are often quotes saying that they have experienced difficulties as far as obtaining care. This happens most commonly on instances when there is (VOC) in qualitative studies. Patients who suffer from the sickle cell diseases are most commonly said to have been admitted into the hospital way too often can be problematic to deal with. There are many instances when the patient may become aggressive and overly reliant on the hospital services as they are too prone and they cannot take care of their own needs.
