Sex education is a program designed to train students in the process of taking an individual throughout life, including the formation of attitudes, beliefs and values about identity, relationships and intimacy (SIECUS, 1991). Most of the goals of sex education classes promote adult sexual health. The four main objectives, in accordance with National Guidelines Task Force, is to provide reliable information about human sexuality in order to enable young people to develop and understand their values, attitudes and perceptions of sexuality in order to help young people develop interpersonal skills and help young people apply responsibility for sexual relations. Such responsibilities include, how to protect adolescents from the pressures begin to engage in premature sexual intercourse, encouraging the use of contraceptives and other sexual health measures.
